      Lately, there is currently a boom in rom development for galaxy y. Everyone seems to be quite excited in developing new things for this little phone. Even though its quite a little outdated already due to the fact that newer and faster phones are coming out each month, galaxy y is still simply a phone that you can get your money's worth.

      This rom simply looks amazing and one thing I find interesting in this rom is it's simplicity. Using adw launcher with customized icons that really makes a huge impact on the look and feel of the UI. Aside from the look and feel, this one has tweaks for low battery consumption and better ram management.

GAME MODES

?CLASSIC - You are split up into two teams. Death is permanent until the next round starts. There are three ways to win: 1) The universal victory. Even if everyone on your side dies, as long as the bomb is active, you can still win.

?TEAM DEATH MATCH (TDM) - You are split up into two teams. Death is NOT permanent. There is no winning situation, just a scoreboard. This mode is for the casual players who just want to get into action and fight.

?ZOMBIE MODE - A random player will be selected to become a zombie who infects others. That initial zombie will start off with 2000 HP and regenerates HP rapidly for a short amount of time in order for it to infect someone. Once a person becomes infected, he/she is instantly turned into a zombie and will have to infect others in order to win. The objective of the humans is to eliminate all zombies.

?ZOMBIE MATCH - This mode is like Team Death Match. However, zombies are added to both teams. They will aid you in fight.

?SURVIVAL - Every player that enters to game is automatically a SWAT team member. The objective is to survive as long as you can while zombies, NPC terrorists, and/or kamikazes attack you wave after wave.

?DEATH MATCH - Every player who enters the game is going to fight against each other. There are no teams whatsoever.

?JUGGERNAUT - At the beginning, the host will be selected to become the first juggernaut. Juggernauts can have extra health and speed. Everybody else must try to kill the Juggernaut; the player that ultimately kills the Juggernaut becomes the new Juggernaut.

?CAPTURE THE FLAG - Two teams each have a flag and the objective is to capture the other team's flag.

(Games) CrazyFist II : Run no more

CrazyFist II is an interesting game similar to temple run but has a twist on it. Instead of you running FROM your enemies, you get to end up chasing after them. Quite a bit odd but still quite a lot of fun!

This game is quite laggy so you have to install chainfire 3d pro to play the game. Graphics are quite complicated since it was done in an awesome way that is really bad for our little android phone which has minimum specs. Thanks to chainfire we still can play the game smoothly.

(Games) Alone at War : Play it simple

I Stumbled on downloading this game quite a while now when I was still sick. Interesting and really crazy i think. One of the weirdest games I ever played and has a lot of x factor on it. Recommended for all ages!

This game is called alone at war. You obviously get to play an unlikely hero which is situated at the bottom left hand-side corner of the screen with a bow and arrow as a weapon.

You get to defend your kingdom (which I think is no help at all since you are the only one trying to save it) against evil enemies that come nonstop until the sun sets.

Equipped with only a bow and arrow, you must target and shower your enemies with your mighty arrows until they all fall dead. As you hit combos, you will acquire special arrows or spells as well.

Quite an interesting game as I find all the characters and background very unusual. Mostly this game rocks and is really a great way to spend some time with your phone.

Lewa was developed by chinese devs for several android devices and has now been ported for galaxy y. This rom is not really that perfect since it is based on CM7 and as we all know, Cyanogen is still not perfectly running on galaxy y. This rom is not meant for daily use, until cyanogen is properly fixed.

Did you know that lewa means "happy, merry, funny Frog?". This is an interesting rom for our android phone since it is neatly done and is really attractive to look at. Please read terms and conditions before installing this and always make a backup copy of your current rom.

(tweaks) SmokingHAL version 2.2 : Increase smoothness

          This script enables fast response and increased frame rate response for galaxy y for a more smoother transition. Please read terms and conditions before installing and always do backup your system before any changes. It's really important if you really need to revert back to your previous configurations.

         
          One of the key points that this script does is eliminate wakelock/reboot issues on some custom kernels especially merruks. As you noticed, when your screen turns off and you press the power key, it sometimes takes 4-5 seconds before the screen pops on again. This simply eliminates the delay. How to install this

1. Using root explorer (which you can download from this site) or any other file explorer that allows you to browse the root directory, go to your init.d folder and simply delete all other scripts installed to avoid complications or clashes. If you don't have init.d then that means your kernel or rom simply does not support it.

3. flash the zip file and reboot phone.
